What began as a simple dessert-and-coffee counter has grown into a full, family-run eatery on Gualala's main strip. The kitchen builds its daily breakfast and lunch menus — plus a rotating dinner service several evenings a week — around locally supplied and naturally foraged ingredients. Owners Ross and Susana later opened Gualala Seafood Shack up the road (2019), a more casual seafood counter that trades on the same "Trinks fame." The feel here is unhurried and local — described as a community meeting spot as much as a restaurant — with seating both inside and out on a grassy lawn/patio toward the Gualala River estuary.
Sources differ slightly on the evening program: one describes dinner "Wednesdays through Fridays evenings," another describes "gourmet dinners three nights a week" — broadly consistent, though Google's own listed hours (8am–3pm daily) don't reflect any evening service, so call ahead if you're planning to go for dinner.
Bakery
What began as a dessert-and-coffee counter still shows: the coffee bar and bakery case are substantial enough to be a destination on their own, with house-baked pastries and the house-made bread the sandwiches are built on. It works well as a fast grab-and-go stop.
