WhiteCap Coffee and Tea is the community coffee house of Anchor Bay Village, on the Gualala side of Highway 1. Owned and operated by Torry and Amanda J. Olsen, it has long been a local gathering place — a relaxed, art-filled room with a free lending library and a stack of board games you can play for free, from Magic: The Gathering to Dungeons & Dragons (per visitor reports).
The draw is the coffee: locally roasted Little Green Bean beans, poured as fair-trade, organic brews and espresso drinks. It's a small, neighborly spot rather than a full café — think excellent coffee and tea, light bites, and a comfortable place to linger. It holds a 4.9-star Google rating across 117 reviews, and directory guides rank it the top café in Anchor Bay.
